Antique medal from the 1900s in 18ct (750/1000th ) yellow gold signed by the engraver Mazzoni.
Oval in shape, it depicts the Virgin Mary in profile, with floral decoration at the base and a surround alternating small rose-cut diamonds totaling approx. 0.04ct and small calibrated blue stones. On the reverse, it is initialed "C M" and dated "April 29, 1928". Antique French work, signed by the famous chaser-medallist Mazzoni, who practiced during the Art Deco period.
