Antique medal from the 1900s in 18ct (750/1000th ) yellow gold signed by the engraver Mazzoni.
Oval in shape, it depicts the Virgin Mary in profile, with floral decoration at the base and a surround of small gold balls. On the reverse, it is initialed "J E" and dated "23.3.91". Early French work, signed by the famous chaser-medalist Mazzoni, who practiced during the Art Deco period.

The medal is sold without a chain, but we can add one on request.

Condition: Very good, slight patina from use, please note that the enamel is broken in several places on the top of the medal.
