Delightful antique medal in 18ct yellow gold (750/1000th) and pearls. Octagonal in shape, it depicts the Virgin Mary in profile in a floral design, with small pearls in the corners. It is engraved on the back "MR 18-5-1946". Antique French work from the 1930s/1940s, the medal is signed "LA JS" on the front.
